What stood out most was the service. Staff were quick to open the doors and greet us, offered to bring an external heater when we mentioned the room felt cold, and even delivered takeaway orders to the room. The location is great, right by peoples park and about 10 minutes from nanjing east road, with good metro connections. Complimentary breakfast includes noodles and croissants, and fresh coffee is available until 6pm each day. I’d stay here again if I’m back in shanghai.

I stayed here in October 2025, and everything was very nice and clean. The staff were so courteous and went to great lengths to give good service. The general manager was out of this world, keeping a personal touch and making our stay very comfortable.

We’d happily return and make this our second home in Shanghai. The two-bedroom corner apartment was beautiful, with a stunning balcony running end to end, and the monochrome French-inspired décor felt refined and homey. Concierge and housekeeping were prompt, professional, and genuinely warm, and GM Ben deserves a special mention for his friendly hospitality. It’s well placed for walking, sightseeing, and shopping, with halal food options and the Metro close by.

The art deco look, reminiscent of the roaring 20’s, is especially appealing, and the place feels like an elegant service apartment combined with a hotel. Its location is convenient, and the staff provide great service, trying to accommodate whatever you need. They supply bread, croissants, and milk every day, along with Chinese breakfast. I liked that the milk was fresh, not a substitute like coffee-mate. Most other five-star hotels don’t put milk in the room for tea or coffee.
