The only real plus is the location near the waterfront, though the subway is still about a 15-minute walk away. The breakfasts were barely warm, with overcooked dumplings and the same five meal sets every morning. I wouldn't recommend eating there. We spent three nights and the room wasn't cleaned once. The sheets and towels weren't changed either. The beds were so hard that I woke up in pain every couple of hours and had to turn over, until the other side started hurting too. I'm from Russia, and this is one of the worst hotels I've seen in my life. Even the dreariest hotels in the Soviet Union were better. I'd look for somewhere else in Shanghai, even if it costs a little more.

I stayed for two nights, and the standard wasn't good. Some reception staff were rude. The hotel food and breakfast aren't suitable for Arabs because they contain pork. The rooms and bathrooms, though, were very clean.
