Being close to the lake, museums, and nearby shops was the best part. The room itself was average and didn't live up to the look the hotel advertises; there's even a fake drawer. Bring an adaptor, and be ready for very loud toilets. You can hear people using them from the other side, even when you're not in the bathroom. My room also went uncleaned all day. I was out twice for several hours, but when I returned the cleaning cart was still parked outside, and I don't know what was happening. The bathroom has a window facing the room, with a curtain the person outside can operate, which could be nice for couples. The parking garage is underneath, accessed by going around the side.

This is easily my favourite Vienna hotel in Shanghai. It was quiet, with views of the wind farms and ocean, and the air felt clean. I could walk to the maritime Museum and around the lake. The place is full kitsch.
