The biggest problem here is the poor Wi-Fi, and no one seemed to care when we complained. The front desk staff weren't very welcoming, and their English wasn't very good. That might matter less if they smiled at guests. It seems the hotel caters mostly to local guests, so they may not feel a need for English. For getting to PUDONG INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, you can take a regular bus. Walk along SHIXIN ROAD until you reach the third traffic light, then turn right and you'll see the bus stop. There's also a lovely children's park along the way. The front office has a bus timetable, but with our late-night flight we didn't want to rely on it. Some young Chinese people helped us find the stop, and they were very kind and helpful. This hotel is fine if Wi-Fi and a warm welcome aren't important to you.

Wendy was very helpful when we were leaving and arranged a car to the airport for us. We had a wonderful time at Wassim Hotel, our needs were all taken care of, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Thanks again for a great stay.

There seems to be a constant cigarette smell, and in winter the heater is on. If you don't want the room too hot, I'd suggest switching it off. The hotel is clean, the rooms are spacious, and the swimming pool and gym are free to use. Service was good throughout. Across the street there's a restaurant worth trying, with delicious food. An AirAsia airplane model is displayed outside the shop.

Several free airport shuttle buses start running early in the morning. From there, you can also take a bus and transfer to MRT (subway) Line 2.
