Wuyuan Wunvzhou Chasheng Hotel

We picked Wumeng Boutique Hotel as one of three boutique hotels for our group at the huge 250k sqm Wu Nv Fairyland Resort. Our Room 1501 had a balcony and all the room amenities. It was decorated in a new Chinese style, with comfortable bedding and separate shower and toilet cubicles. After dinner, we wandered past the specialty shops and crossed a bridge where people were enjoying boat rides on the lake. We ended up at the Stadium for the live show “Meet Wuyuan”. It was packed, so getting a good photo of the performance wasn't easy. Earlier that evening, we crossed the mirror pool to catch the shuttle at the hotel entrance. It went past the Baoyu Pagoda and a big trumpet slide, then dropped us near a street full of night stalls and restaurants. We ate at Taohuawu Restaurant, where the food was delicious and the service good. Breakfast at the hotel had lots of local and western choices, and check-out was quick. Wu Nv Fairyland is lovely, with lots of plants and Chinese man-made landscapes. The whole resort looks beautiful lit up at night, with fanfares and shows in different spots and plenty to keep you occupied. Wumeng Boutique Hotel is a great boutique hotel to stay at while visiting the resort.
