My flight was leaving quite late at night, so Gwen Luo kindly extended my stay until 4pm. That was fantastic service, and Gwen was very helpful.

The location worked well for Bao’An, with Uniwalk and Joycity nearby, though the city centre is a fair way off. Getting to Huaqiangbei Electronics Market, for example, can take around 30 to 40 minutes by car or metro. I found the gym on a higher floor well equipped, and the city views were a nice way to wind down. One evening I also had a quiet drink at the bar, which had a relaxed, uncrowded feel. Breakfast was another bright spot, with plenty of Western and Chinese choices, fresh juices, Cantonese dim sum, and local snacks. The room was spacious, spotless, and practical, with modern lighting and layout. I liked having bedside USB ports and wireless charging. The bed was comfortable, though the pillows were softer than I prefer; I still slept well. Check-in was efficient and courteous, and the staff were attentive despite the language differences. They also shared useful tips about nearby attractions and places to eat. The lobby felt clean, modern, and welcoming from the moment I arrived. I stayed at Four Points by Sheraton in the Bao’An district on my recent Shenzhen trip, and the experience exceeded my expectations in several ways. It offered good value, with a clean and comfortable stay and a team that seemed committed to guest satisfaction. I’d happily return or recommend it to friends visiting Shenzhen, especially if they want a modern hotel in Bao’An with solid amenities and reliable service.

Getting around took some time: Coco park was about 30 minutes away, Longkang an hour, and the trip from HK airport took 1-1.5 hours, so it wasn’t very accessible. The area itself was well lit, with lots of people drinking late at night, and a large shared space across the road where locals gathered for recreation. We enjoyed the breakfast for Chinese food, though the English options were less appealing. The cheese and ham platter lacked taste. We stayed in a superior suite, which was good. The doorman regularly opened the door for us, making our Didi rides feel safer, as if someone was seeing us into the cab. The room had thoughtful touches: a flexible round makeup mirror, bathroom drainage with an anti-slip floor and mat, strong water pressure, and a bidet toilet with a good tornado auto-flush. There was a Nespresso machine but no pods, which seemed odd. The fridge had four bottles of water and four types of soda, refilled daily. Room service came by robot, and delivery racks were outside the hotel doors. A few amenities were missing. There was no sanitary bag on the first day, and since we were in a suite, we expected at least a fruit platter.

Breakfast had lots of variety and was really good. The hotel is near a large mall, with plenty of restaurants on the surrounding streets. It’s a small, very new and nice place in Shenzhen Bao’an district. The room had everything I needed, including a nice bathroom with a rain shower. There were plenty of canned soft drinks in the minibar for free, plus a welcome platter of fruit and nuts. The toilet had an automatic bidet seat with a warmer. I’d stay there again!
