We didn’t get a good view and didn’t explore the neighborhood, but the room itself was clean and spacious, with a sink and microwave that came in handy. Food deliveries can be sent up by the usual robot. If you’re staying for a flight at Shenzhen Bao an international airport, there’s a free shuttle, but remember to book it when checking in. Also, the name is easy to mix up with Home 2 Suites by Hilton Shenzhen Qianhai Baoan.

The free airport shuttle feels like a premium extra, and the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was excellent, with loads of options. I paid under 100 USD a night for a stay that felt like it should cost around 200 USD. It was an incredible experience. Anyone who visits China often knows how hard it can be to find a place like this.

The price is very reasonable, and I’d stay here again even after my mosquito experience. During a December 2022 visit, I was on the 12th floor and killed two mosquitoes in one night. I also saw them in the gym and laundry room, so take precautions. Breakfast could use more variety, and the milk wasn’t refilled promptly when it ran out. Hilton hotels in China usually have decent facilities.
