The rooms are nice and the hotel is good, but noise is a real issue. You can hear everything from outside because the doors and windows aren't insulated, and both guests and staff get loud. Staff talk right outside guests' doors. If noise doesn't bother you, it's a good hotel. Loud people may be perfectly happy here and not notice it.

The beds are huge, and breakfast was comfortable and had a good variety. It's a four-star hotel with a pool, though only about half the rooms have been renovated. The older bathrooms are run-down, and the humidity leaves a musty smell.

The staff were very polite, better than at a lot of five-star hotels, and we enjoyed walking in the garden downstairs in the evenings. It's near tourist attractions, so the area is lively, but nights were quiet enough for sleeping. We took the kids on vacation and they spent every day in the pools, especially enjoying the big outdoor one. The long children's slides weren't open, unfortunately. There's an indoor pool and a hot spring too. At night the kids even wanted to watch TV in the bathtub.

The lobby was clean and comfortable, and the staff there were friendly and attentive. The bed felt a little firm to me.
