I’ve lived here with my family for two years, and it’s mostly been a good experience. The place is expensive, though you can pay by credit card, and you avoid having to deal with Chinese landlords and real estate scammers. The staff are friendly and try to help with problems. Most speak average English, which is useful. There was one issue with pest control in my apartment: they didn’t take it seriously until I got very upset. If you’re not on a tight budget, or your company can cover the housing allowance, it’s a good place to start settling in China.
