Shenzhen Xing Wei Yifeng Hotel

For a three-night work trip, I found the hotel easy to get around from: the subway entrance is right outside, a small shopping center is opposite, and the Baesucheon Stream path out front is nice for a quick run after work. Bao'an Airport is about a 20-minute taxi ride away. The first floor has an office, and the place seems to be used by China Eastern Airlines flight attendants. I saw them coming and going each morning. My room was decent and felt clean, with good water pressure, though there was no safe or fridge. The mattress was soft and springy, which could be uncomfortable for two people. The air conditioner was noisy, so I'd keep its fan on low. There's also the faint cigarette smell you often get in Chinese hotels. The reception staff were friendly, but didn't speak English. We managed some communication with WeChat translation. Breakfast was basic, but fine. The China Eastern Airlines attendants all seemed to have a bowl of noodles, and it wasn't so salty that it left you thirsty.
