The room was great and service was good, though there isn't much nearby.

I stayed there for a month. It's the best place I've stayed in China.

The room was clean and comfortable, but the air conditioning in the room above ours was so loud that it was hard to sleep at night. The service was completely unprofessional. We spent 40 minutes trying to pay for breakfast because of a payment problem. They wouldn't let us have breakfast without paying right then, even though we were staying for a week. There was no way to add it to the room bill, and they didn't take Visa. The staff spoke very little English. After all that, they didn't even offer us coffee. They told us to go to the third floor for an espresso for 15 yu. The restaurant staff, on the other hand, were impeccable and very friendly, and the food was excellent.

Getting to different tourist attractions is easy, though I recommend taking a taxi since fares are very affordable. The staff are really friendly, and there are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, which is handy when traveling abroad and dealing with food. The hotel has a kitchen and even a washing machine, so the rooms feel more like a resort than a hotel.
