Hampton by Hilton Tianjin Wuqing

During my stay at Tianjin Station Hampton by Hilton, I found an ashtray set outside the elevators inside the hotel, where guests were openly smoking. Staff did nothing about it. The smoke spreads down the corridors and into rooms, which is unacceptable in an indoor public area and a concern for guest health and safety. Putting an ashtray there effectively creates a smoking spot instead of enforcing non-smoking rules. It makes it seem management knows about the issue and is choosing convenience over compliance and guests’ wellbeing. For a hotel at this price, a clean, smoke-free environment and basic standards should be a minimum. That clearly wasn’t happening here, and it shows disregard for guests and the Hilton brand. I found this deeply disappointing and don’t recommend the property to anyone who values proper management, health standards, or professional hospitality. Until the issue is taken seriously and fixed, it’s hard to trust this hotel.
