The food was a highlight, especially the local dishes, which were flavorful and freshly made each time. I had a wonderful first experience in China at today’s international hotel. The staff really tried to make us comfortable, and the rooms were clean, the stay comfortable, and the surroundings peaceful. Good facilities too, and great value. We'd definitely come back.

The rooms need updating, and the staff's English was poor. Meals at the hotel restaurant were very spicy and only mediocre.

I found the restaurant staff, specifically the waiters, unkind. The kitchen and food didn't suit Europeans, for sure. The hotel is below average, with a major language barrier, and the rooms feel old and aren't very clean. Maybe stay one night if you're passing through, but I wouldn't stay longer. Grade 1-5 (2).

Communicating even about basic things was difficult because the staff barely understood English. I've stayed in better hotels, and this will definitely be my last stay here.

The place has a really nice atmosphere. My room was pretty small, though, and the mattress was hard.
