My best JW Marriott stay so far. The room was huge and clean, with a walk-in closet, and the service was attentive. Breakfast was a good buffet, and a DiDi ride to the train station took 20 minutes ❤️.

Some of the staff were genuinely friendly, but I wouldn't really recommend the place. We had a mixed stay. Our room was cleaned even though we didn't want it cleaned, and some valuables we'd left out were scattered around, so we had to search for them. There was confusion about the laundry and staff were pointing fingers. I tried to keep this fair. When handling our passports, staff slapped them around and folded them, nearly damaging them. That felt very disrespectful.

I got this hotel mixed up with the other JW Marriott. The staff kindly helped me arrange a cab to the right one, and the service was great.

Set on the upper floors of a skyscraper in the north of the city, this is a very modern hotel. The stylish design carries through the shared spaces and the rooms. The lobby feels enormous, with panoramic windows all around, and the high ceilings on the guest floors make the rooms seem even larger.

The room had a few small issues, though it was roomy and comfortable, and the staff were excellent. This is the northern location, farther from the city, but it's right by an underground station, so getting around is still easy. It's also nearer to suburban attractions like Huashan and the terracotta army.
