The room window looked out onto the city wall, which was beautiful, and the room itself was clean. The hotel is about a 30-minute walk from Xi'an Everbright City and 10 minutes from Laochenggen Commercial Street. Breakfast tasted good, though the dishes stayed the same. If you’re there for several days, remind the staff to top up the room supplies.

The hotel has an older atmosphere, but it’s handy for getting around. Yuxiangmen subway station is a 4-5 minute walk away. Andingmen (West Gate) is about 14 minutes on foot to the right from the hotel, with convenience stores and souvenir shops along the route. Walk around Andingmen to the right, with the gate in the middle, and you’ll come across a Walmart selling groceries and everyday items. Breakfast is a Chinese buffet. Some rooms face east and look onto the city wall when it’s lit up.

There’s nothing I can really complain about. It’s an older hotel, but perfectly fine for three stars, and the room was so spacious it was almost too much. Breakfast is a Chinese buffet, and the hotel sits beside the Xi'an city wall.
