I’d prefer the restaurants to provide forks and spoons instead of only the usual chopsticks and soup spoon. That setup makes it feel like a Chinese restaurant.

The room was big and comfortable, with a modern toilet and adequate amenities. I had a wonderful view of Marina, and the service was good. It’s an impressive, big hotel.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the rooms have a modern, nice design. Everything runs through buttons rather than switches, so it took me a moment to work out how to use them. Breakfast varied a lot but was mostly local food, and there are plenty of amenities.

The all-day buffet on the first floor had an impressive range of dishes, and the food was replenished quickly. I especially didn’t expect to enjoy the pan-fried foie gras so much. It was delicious, and the menu was extensive, with each dish carefully prepared. I was in Xiamen for an annual meeting and stayed at Xiamen Tianyuan Hotel for three days and two nights. The room was very comfortable, and the bedding, amenities, and cleanliness all showed attention to detail. The grand, bright lobby also made a lovely first impression with its elegant decor. I was very satisfied with the stay. The facilities and food quality were both commendable, and if I return to Xiamen, Tianyuan Hotel will be my first choice. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality accommodation.
