We only stayed one night while visiting Tianmen for the day. The room had lots of space and great panoramic windows and views. It's in a quiet part of the city, a little farther out, but a Didi ride to the city takes about 15 minutes. The owner was very nice and helpful.

The people here were so thoughtful and welcoming, and the whole place had a peaceful, warm feel. Everything was clean and cozy, and I left feeling relaxed and already wondering when I could return. The views at Tian’s Resort are hard to believe, the pictures really don't capture them. Looking out the window felt like being in a dream. If you want somewhere beautiful and peaceful with genuinely kind hospitality, I highly recommend it.

Mr. and Mrs. Tian made this stay stand out from places I've stayed around the world. Mr. Tian drove us to the airport himself, and Mrs. Tian spent time explaining how to get where we wanted to go, mapping routes, and laying out ticket choices that could help us avoid lines and use our limited time well. We were a bit unsure about staying somewhere rural, but the couple-owned resort exceeded our expectations. The rooms have a modern design, while the exterior and lobby keep a traditional look. Their furniture and lighting choices are lovely, and the room was very comfortable. The views of Tianmen Mountain are stunning, and the pool is a great place to take them in. Don't let the 2-star rating on Google reviews put you off. For me, it was better than 5-star Marriotts I've stayed at. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try, and I'd come back.

The staff helped me plan trips to Tianmen mountain and Zhangjiajie National Park, and even drove me into town to find an ATM that accepted my bank card. I'm a Canadian woman traveling alone, I don't speak Chinese, and for some reason WeChat and Alipay wouldn't connect to my Mastercard. I'd already paid for the room online, so they were helping me out, not trying to sort out payment. My room was clean, with a huge, very comfortable bed. The resort is on a quiet street by the airport, about a 5-10 minute drive from downtown. I'm so glad I stayed at Tian's Resort and really grateful for the help.

We were there for one night and had a great stay. The woman at the front desk was so kind, and she made sure dinner was sorted and breakfast was ready for us the next morning. I'd happily stay here again.
