Our booking through booking.com was confirmed, and we had been in touch with the owner. But when we arrived at night, the hostel was closed. Another person helped us contact the owner, who told that person in Chinese that he couldn't afford not to accept guests. That's why it was still bookable, apparently. Don't go there. It was closed and felt scammy. The hostel was also reported to booking.
