Some things can't be charged to your room, and there's no cash machine. The coffee wasn't the best either.

I enjoyed trying something different, and the service was excellent. Natalia at the pool was especially great, and the buffet food was surprisingly good. The place still seems unfinished, though, so I probably wouldn't return for a few years. The parking area they provided was unpaved and under construction, which was a little concerning. I wasn't even sure it was the right lot at first, since only construction workers were there to greet us. Also, while they claimed the place was comparable to Disney, I didn't find it that way. I bought a day pass because there was no availability. That ended up working out, since our room at the other hotel was half the price and had a beachfront view. From what I could tell, the Riviera doesn't offer beachfront-view apartments.

The rooms looked nice and felt comfortable, with good views from the upper infinity pool. Down below, there was a fun Jamaican-style party spot. The design felt fresh and authentic, like a castle hotel with a Disneyland feel. The waiters were very helpful and spoke decent English. Food quality was decent too. Highly recommended.

It's a beautiful spot less than an hour from Monteria, and the place was quite clean with very good food. The staff were friendly, much like at many other all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean, and customer service was very good. I can't give it five stars because there isn't access for people with disabilities to the restaurant or beach. A few more hand sanitizer stations would help too.
