Hotel Palmeras de Luz

The staff are so kind, and the place feels beautiful and relaxing. The rooms are super tidy and warm, too. This is my favorite hotel in Moniquirá, especially because the food is absolutely out of this world.

Breakfast was good, and everything felt clean and new. The rooms are spacious with plenty of light. It takes a while for the hot water to come through, but it does eventually.

Very clean, welcoming staff, and good for families.

I'd stay here again. It was a lovely visit, though there's room to improve the breakfast and a few things in the rooms. The staff were friendly and efficient, especially the guy in the wet room, and drinks were reasonably priced. The facilities were spotless, carefully organized, and free of dust, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. The biggest issue was noise from trucks on the road. It was especially noticeable from the double rooms facing the pool and interrupted sleep. Those rooms also need more outlets for phone charging, and there was only one nightstand. The TV was so small that it hardly seemed worth having. Breakfast was pretty basic. The American-style options included eggs cooked in three styles, but no extra toppings. I asked for ranch-style sausage and got diced sausage instead. Fruit was limited to bananas or papaya, which felt sparse given the variety in the area. Overall, the breakfast fell short.
