La Floresta de Cite Hotel

I stayed only one day before canceling my reservation, and I still haven't received my refund. The hotel didn't match what was promised: the pool and jacuzzi were freezing rather than heated, the sauna didn't work, and there was no bar service. Breakfast was available, but there was no restaurant service. Music played in the hallways all night, then got louder with reggaeton early in the morning, making sleep impossible. A bar next door also played music loudly enough to clearly affect the rooms. When I canceled, the manager, Jairo, said they couldn't refund half of what I'd paid because they didn't have the money. This was December 31st, and 17 days had passed by the time I wrote this. He promised in a letter that it would reach my account the next business day, but it still hadn't arrived, and they said it was being processed. The coordinator is unfit to manage the chain and gives terrible customer service.

The hotel is lovely, and we had a great time. The restaurant food was excellent, and the restaurant staff were a 10/10. Service overall was excellent. A couple of things could be better: guarantee at least one parking space per room, and improve the receptionist's customer service.

The facilities are lovely, and the cleanliness was exceptional. The service and attention were spectacular. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The hotel is well cared for, the staff are friendly and work hard, and the rooms look pretty. But they're impractical, and I just couldn't get a good night's sleep. Light came in all night through the door windows from the hallway, while the curtains seemed purely decorative and did nothing to block the street lights. The pillows were enormous, and there's no soundproofing, which seems essential so close to a main road. Then at 7:00 a.m. they started demolishing, drilling, and hammering on the floor above. Rest is the main reason to stay in a hotel, and that just wasn't possible here.
