Hemma Bogotá Chapinero Premium Suites Hotel

The room was nice, and having a kitchen meant we could cook dinner. Breakfast was filling, and the staff were helpful, finding appliances like an iron, blender, and sandwich maker whenever we needed them. The place is very central to Chapinero, with a grocery store, Oxxo, and Transmilenio bus stop only a few steps away. I’d stay here again.

I still have no internet, which I need for remote work, and it’s been three days since I arrived. The previous review mentioned Wi-Fi trouble too. I contacted the manager, but he’s avoiding my calls. I asked for a refund so I could find somewhere else to stay and got no reply. Looks like I’ll have to get my bank to fight them and dispute the charge since they won’t handle this in person. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

For this three-person apartment, there was just one fork, one knife, no cutting knife, two teaspoons, and one plastic cooking spoon. When I complain about clearly non-luxury things, they insist everything is fine. The fridge has only two settings, freezing or off. The shower water didn’t work at first, then a day later I could only get cold water. The building has NO hot-water pipes. The only warm water comes from a tiny electric heater in the shower stall, if they fix it, and it lasts about five minutes before turning cold again. They should call it El Cheapo. Stay away unless all you need is a bed for eight hours a day and you’ll be out the rest of the time.

The shower electrocuted me. I asked the hotel to call an ambulance, but they wouldn’t. I had to get myself to the hospital and pay for it. They also refused to refund my money. Horrible service, horrible and dishonest people. Never go to this hotel. Total corruption.
