Getting there takes effort because of the distance and terrain, but public tuk-tuks do run to and from the hotel, and an experienced driver can reach it in a small car. We also highly recommend booking the "Henry's Crazy Antics" experience. For us, staying here has always been an epic experience, the kind of story a traveler can’t wait to tell back home. And the pool is the most photogenic in Barichara!

The rooms are spectacular, and the view is one of a kind. The pool is unlike anything I’ve seen before, and the place feels steeped in the history of our Santander region. It took me back in time. My family and I think it’s easily the best hotel in all of Barichara. Highly recommended.

I couldn’t make it to the place, even though I’d been looking forward to visiting and tried to get there. The road was in such poor shape, with rocks, dirt, and hills my car couldn’t manage. I was driving an Audi Q3, and it skidded, so I had to turn back. What a shame. I hope I can visit on my next trip.
