I had breakfast and dinner here, and both were great. There are daily yoga classes too. It's a relaxed place to spend a few days unwinding and enjoying the Santander heartland. The family runs it and lives on site, so it feels more like a traditional bed and breakfast. It's also a charming spot close to the central plaza.

Josie and her kids made me feel like part of their family, and their recommendations for Barichara and nearby areas were great. I enjoyed the breakfasts and dinner, and also joined one of Josie's yoga classes. I booked three nights and wound up staying four. The place has a lovely energy, and I'll definitely return and recommend it to friends and family visiting this magical town. The room, toilet, and chill area were clean, and the chill area has a great view. It's very close to the center and viewpoints like “salto del mico”. Josie can organize tours around the area.

We could park our motorbike or car right in front, which was really convenient. The room and bathroom were clean, and the owners were super helpful and cool. They serve very nice food and can arrange lovely adventure tours. Five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Josie was a lovely, attentive host with plenty of good recommendations, and her breakfasts were delicious. The place has beautiful decor, a peaceful little green space, and a magnificent setting close to the center. The evenings have a festive feel. The one drawback was that we had no hot water for three days.

We chose Tree of Life Hostel on the spur of the moment and were welcomed so warmly. Josi and her family took such loving care of us throughout our stay. They make the place feel lovely, with delicious breakfasts and vegetarian or vegan snacks. We'd be very happy to come back.
