The rooms didn’t keep outside noise out, so every night was awful. Even though I was exhausted, I struggled to fall asleep until 4 a.m. During Carnaval, the price was around $70 per person per night, which might have been okay if it weren’t for the noise. This place was terribly expensive for Carnaval, an irrational price compared with hotels in other cities. There’s a bar on the next block, and each night I felt like I was sleeping in the street. If you want to pay an absurd amount for noisy nights, stay here. If you need proper sleep, don’t fall for it. I felt cheated.
