Hotel Atrium Plaza

The hotel's old and needs repairs. The roof is worn out and badly rusted. In the room, the shower head was clogged and didn't work, the safe had dead batteries, and they gave me an emergency key to use. The sink had only cold water, the furniture was old and damaged, the air conditioner was old and partly broken, and the hot water tap in the jacuzzi was broken. The fitness room was closed and broken too. I booked mainly because of the nice pool, but it was under reconstruction, so there was no pool. Nobody told me in advance, and a receptionist said guests weren't allowed. I paid for a friend who visited for two hours as if he had slept there. I paid for the junior suite. It's a four-star hotel, but the receptionists don't speak English, except for the lovely receptionist Maria. Everyone else only speaks Spanish. A female receptionist told my guests information about other guests who had visited me while I was in the room. Who visits me in my room is confidential, and the jealous receptionist shouldn't have told them who I'd met before. It was very unprofessional. This happened on 25.february 2025 around 10pm.

I'll definitely stay there again. The service reminded me of the USA in the 20's - 60's, with bellboys and attentive staff. Bring plenty of pesos for tips when you arrive. I highly recommend Atrium.

Breakfast was excellent, and the employees gave great service. The room and shower were very nice, and it felt safe to walk around even in the evening. I'd definitely stay again.

The room was spacious, the pool was sufficient, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was genuine and decent, and the place was safeguarded 24/7. Sleep was another matter. The noise was incredible, like five-year-old children yelling in a playground. It probably operates as a conference hall too, and at 06:00 am it was impossible to sleep. La Troja, a local bar, is right next door, so you can't sleep before 03:00am either. There's no window to open, which means no fresh air.
