The worst part came at checkout. Our order from the hotel restaurant was delayed, making us late to leave the room, and nobody warned us it was running behind. Then they tried to charge an excessive late fee. When I explained the delay was caused by their own restaurant, they said it wasn't their problem. The receptionist, cook, waiter, and several other employees all got pulled into the back-and-forth. They said there was no manager there, and only after I insisted on calling the owner did we reach an agreement, which still wasn't satisfactory. We were charged for a late lunch that was basically leftovers, plus a huge fee. The room itself had been fine apart from stained toilets and cleanliness that could've been better. We won't be back. I'd tell people to avoid the place, they take your money at checkout.

The pools and bathrooms were clean, and I enjoyed the tasty food and fair prices. Service was excellent. I visited on January 5, 2026, and noticed a few small things still need attention. The management is new, though, and they seem aware of the issues and are working on improvements. Wishing them success, and I hope they keep at it for their customers.

The setting is a plus, with good service and weather that makes for a reliably warm day. But the cabins badly need investment. They're in terrible shape and uncomfortable to sleep in, and there's no first-aid kit, which is essential. The children's play area is also in rough condition. There's a pool table, but no gear to use it. For the price, the cabins don't offer amenities, and the food situation is pretty discouraging: one option for lunch, hamburgers, and one breakfast, plain eggs without sausage. The bread and jam came over-toasted, and hot chocolate was only available with milk. Anyone who can't have lactose is left buying another drink, even though making it with water would be easy. There's no real variety.
