The staff were very friendly, and breakfast was really good. My first room was noisy, but after I asked to move to an upper floor away from the stairs, it was much better. The rooms and shower were clean, and the A/C worked very well. The water heater was broken, though that wasn't a big deal in Barranquilla. There's no elevator. For what they offer, it's a bit pricey. I think I could find a better place for the same price next time, but I'd still consider coming back.

Don't stay here if you're looking for a relaxing vacation. The hotel has no pool, and some of the nice photos are of a partner hotel that you have to take a taxi to and from. The key system is also a mess: you have to hand in your room key when you leave and collect it on your return, but you can ask the front desk for any room's key. Nobody checks ID or seems to know who is staying there, especially as staff change shifts. The WiFi is poor, the walls are so thin you can hear full conversations and people having sex, and even a normal speaking voice carries into the next room. The bed feels as stiff as the bathroom floor. Be prepared for a horrible hotel.
