Hotel Washington Plaza

The breakfast was delicious, with Colombian dishes, and the room service was very professional. My room was spotless, and everyone greeted me with a lovely smile. The location is very good too. Such a lovely place, with superb attention. I’ll definitely come back, and I fully recommend this wonderful hotel.

The rooms were clean and had no chemical smell. There isn’t much in the way of amenities, but the price reflects that, and there’s no pool for sunbathing. I liked the Alto Prado location best, with Buena Vista my second favorite area. Plenty of good restaurants are nearby, and Body Tech is next door. The lobby is small, so it’s not a great place to mingle with singles. Overall: 4.0 Rooms: 4.0 Amenities: 3.9 Service: 4.0 Location: 5.0 Breakfast: 3.5

I return to this hotel whenever I visit Barranquilla. The rooms are spacious, well maintained, and very clean, and the breakfast is complete and balanced. It’s well located, with a great team providing good service. They have parking on the property and can arrange transport anywhere in the city, including to the airport.

The hotel is small, but the rooms feel current and comfortable, and breakfast is good. The staff are friendly and attentive. It’s pleasantly located in a great area, with restaurants and bars across the street and malls nearby. One issue: a booking site showed a pool and claimed the hotel had one, but there isn’t a pool. The hotel should make sure its amenities are listed accurately on those other sites.
