The room had a rustic look, and though it was fairly clean, the bed was fine and there wasn't a toilet seat. We were told most rooms were like that. Staff offered us another room, but the rain was coming down hard and we didn't want our bags getting wetter. I thought I asked them to bring a seat to our room, though maybe my Spanish wasn't good enough, because nothing changed. We left after one night despite paying for three. We'd already done what we'd come to Silvia to do.

Juan Pablo was really welcoming, and the place is close to the river, so it feels relaxing. Silvia itself is a nice little town.

The cabins feel a little rustic, with an old TV, a bunk bed and a double bed. There aren't many electrical outlets, and the Wi-Fi is only so-so. Service was good, though slow. Still a good spot for a family getaway.

Smoke from campfires hangs around in the rooms, which is a problem. Also, don't take the tour option. The vehicle isn't suitable, and the ride isn't comfortable.

There are chances to spend time around domestic animals, and nature surrounds this country hotel near the city. The food was exquisite and the service excellent. Highly recommend it.
