La Quinta Bacana

I stayed six nights and felt at home the whole time. The family looking after the hostel were great to talk with, and I also got to meet the very sweet, welcoming owners. The kitchen has lots of equipment, the staff were clean and welcoming, and the service was awesome. Rooms have AC and a ceiling fan, and nights were quiet. Thanks, Maria, Alejandra, your brother and mother, for the good moments. I'll definitely come back someday!

David and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and the place was clean. There's a great front porch for relaxing or getting together. Stores, food spots, and a mall are only a few minutes away on foot. David can help with anything you need. Loved my stay and would recommend it.

The location makes it easy to get into the city, and the rooms are nice, each with a private bathroom. You feel like part of the family here. Knowing Spanish makes conversation easier.

They have two locations, and we ended up at the one they call the “newer” one. It was perhaps the worst place we've ever stayed. The whole place was incredibly dirty and disgusting, including the bathroom shared by eight people. There was a hole straight through the outside wall right beside our bunk. Electrical wires hung from the ceiling, and open sockets exposed the copper wires. Outside, the fence and barbed wire made it look like a prison camp. Never again.
