I only stayed one night during Carnaval, but it felt like a real luxury experience. The hotel was a little sanctuary amid busy Barranquilla, and the staff were attentive and professional, making everything easy and relaxing. My room was spacious, nicely presented, and had everything I needed. Being able to check in early was a real bonus, and breakfast was great. I wish I could've stayed longer and would absolutely come back.

The photos made it look appealing, but the stay was awful. There are better hotels nearby for less money. My room felt like a concrete cell, with one tiny window that wouldn’t open, and the hotel was a maze to get in and out of. There was mold, and when I asked to move rooms they refused. I woke up with my nose, sinuses, and chest congested. The pool was filthy too. A classic tourist trap.

Kary at the Front Desk made the welcome feel amazing and introduced me to this hidden Jem in Barranquilla. This is probably the best hotel in central Barranquilla by far. I travel a lot, trust me, book this one!

The spa was a nice extra, and the amenities were enough for a short visit, though I didn’t have a service there. It’s within walking distance of a mall, and the staff were really friendly. My room was comfortable, clean, and modern. Lunch and dinner at the Restaurant were okay, but breakfast fell well below what I expected from a hotel at this level. Still, it worked well for a brief stay and I’d recommend it.

The pool was dirty, and after all of this they wouldn’t refund our money. There was also a strong sewage odor in the bathroom, and the hotel was very dirty and poorly maintained. The beds and pillows were old and smelled bad. Staff were inattentive, and noisy public events were held inside. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend it.
