The location is great, just off the main streets, and you can walk to places from there. It was also cheaper than other spots in the neighbourhood. The rooms were pretty standard, nothing special, and the breakfast wasn't really continental: just an egg, bread, juice, and coffee. The front desk staff spoke enough English, and the place was kept locked and felt secure.

I got there after 5 p.m. and my room still wasn't ready. The front desk said towels would be brought right over, but when I called an hour later, I was told to wait ten minutes. Then I saw staff checking in another guest on my floor, with a towel already on his bed, so I went down to wait at the desk. They insisted the towels should be dry in ten minutes and asked me to wait in my room or at a table. I said no to both. The staff member went to a room in back and came out with two towels. Hard to believe they had just come out of a dryer, and they felt room temperature. Who knows what really happened, but they weren't fresh from the dryer. I wasn't rude to anyone, and if they'd been honest, I could have let this go. Skip this hotel. Some people suck.

We spent three nights in Bogota, and I wouldn't stay here again even for free. The rooms were tiny, with no wardrobe or lockers. There were two windows facing the hotel corridors, without curtains, so the hallway lights kept shining in all night. Breakfast was awful too. On the first day, my fiance asked for more bread after we each got one slice, and they wouldn't give us any extra. The next morning there wasn't any bread at all, just eggs. When I raised it with the receptionist, she got annoyed and gave me attitude, wouldn't look at me or answer when I asked for the key. The hotel is within a workable distance of the main museums, but the address itself is very dirty.

We thought one night might be manageable, but even that was terrible. The room was run down, the bed linen dirty, and noise from the street and corridor was really loud. Our first room wouldn't lock, had no blackout, and the toilet flush was defective, so we had to move. The second room was only a little better. Definitely wouldn't recommend it.

The room wasn't especially clean, and several things were broken: the light, the toilet seat, and the main outlet by the bed. They eventually fixed the light and brought towels, but they acted like the broken seat and outlet were no big deal. 🤢
