For an ultra budget motel, it gives you a small, clean room with a private bathroom, and the staff are friendly. There are a few little restaurants within walking distance, but the neighborhood isn’t great and has abandoned buildings. It’s noisy, the staircase is steep, and they don’t take credit or debit cards.

The staff are attentive and friendly, and there’s a door to the street that they open from inside. Still, I’d keep this hotel as a last resort and can’t recommend it. Though it seems close to El Dorado Airport, it’s actually quite remote. The area feels completely unsafe, especially arriving after 8 p.m. Getting around is difficult: public transit isn’t easy to reach, the apps don’t work, Transmilenio stations are far away, and taxis can take a long time. There’s no restaurant or parking, though you can buy food at nearby restaurants. I wouldn’t suggest it for families with children.

The facilities are fine for the price once you’re inside, though the surroundings can make it seem unwelcoming at first. It’s comfortable, but there’s no access for people with disabilities. Being close to a main avenue also means traffic can get heavy at times.

We booked a place on 13th Street via Fontibón. The area felt a bit shady after dark, though the rooms and service were good.
