The bed was comfortable, the hotel was clean, and the location was fine. Breakfast was a bit strange, with spring rolls and fries rice instead of breakfast food, but that was okay. What ruined it was not getting any sleep. The room was hot and the windows barely opened, so I tried the air conditioner, but it made a terrible grinding noise. At 1AM they moved me from room 407 to 408, where the air conditioner didn’t get cold at all. The windows were paper thin too, so street sounds and noise from the hotel bar came right through. I’d have liked to stay longer, but I can’t stay somewhere I can’t sleep.

I couldn’t fly to Colombia for health reasons, but the manager, Luisa, refused to let me cancel my reservation. Expedia tried contacting them several times and got no response. Days later, the hotel wrote back only to say they wouldn’t help. That’s horrible customer service, and frankly they should fire Luisa. At the very least, don’t spend your money here. The place basically operates like a motel.

The restaurant is very nice, and the hotel is clean with nice rooms. I think it’s well priced.

Imagine, the Beatles' restaurant on the first floor, is wonderful. Great hamburgers and a great atmosphere!

8/10
There are plenty of restaurants in the neighborhood, and it felt fairly safe to walk around nearby or catch a taxi. The hotel is near the US Embassy. We stayed for 3 nights this week. The rooms were comfortable, and the free breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and seemed sincere about providing a quality experience. There’s an artistic jungle setting in the lobby and a Beatles themed restaurant. They were still making some improvements, and said the pool would be available next year. The gym on the 13th floor was nice and had a view of the city.
