I stayed with my boyfriend for a whole month, and the service was completely terrible. The room itself was nice, but small and loud. The internet worked well. The security situation was a mess, and communication was poor. Neither Jalo, the company renting the place, nor the security team told us important things like the face recognition registry or local water cuts and curfews. That caused a lot of elevator trouble: only one elevator was working for us, so we had to take the stairs several times, which wasn't ideal from the 8th floor. The security staff were rude, slow and clueless. Every time we left the building, they asked if we were checking out, every day for the whole month. The lobby intercom never worked, and after the first sloppy room cleaning we had to ask them to do a better job. There were lots of people asking for money in front of the building, and security didn't seem to care. There are much better places in the area for the same price. This place wasn't worth the money or time.

I booked through Booking but never stayed there. The person replying to me on WhatsApp was slow, and the second thing they told me was that there was no availability. Yet I could still find the apartment on Booking, at a higher price than the one we'd agreed on. My husband searched from his own profile and found it listed for more too. It didn't seem professional. Luckily, I wasn't charged. Booking told me the trip was cancelled because I hadn't shown up, so I replied, and I think they'll take it from there.

BEWARE! When my trip was canceled because of a hurricane, they kept my refund. First they claimed they hadn't received any money from Expedia, but Expedia said that wasn't true when I called. I had both of them on the phone together. How petty. Andry Andre’s will see me soon.

I felt comfortable here, and the cozy setup even worked well for getting some home office done. It's in a great spot near good restaurants and bars, and I really liked how the host looked after me. I'd definitely recommend it.
