The front desk was really helpful, so ask them plenty of questions. I slept better here than at any hostel, and the breakfast and living room made it easy to meet people. There’s a dog park across the street and a bus stop nearby. For Americans whose families worry about Colombia, go anyway: Bogota has a great art district and a $12 bike tour downtown. Friday and Saturday nights are lively and easy to reach from the hostel, but avoid going out after 8pm on Sunday. Probably the best hostel I’ve stayed in. Enjoy!

I’d definitely return. The hostel was tidy and very clean, and they even let me check in at 7am. My bed and room had the feel of a high-quality Japanese capsule hotel, though not everything was designed that way. I felt completely safe in the neighborhood and had no trouble walking alone at night. La Candelaria and the city center are a 30-40 minute walk north from here, but being that far out means getting away from the dicey neighborhoods.

The bed was very comfortable, and the place looked well kept and was very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, even printing our boarding passes so we wouldn't get fined. There were plenty of individual bathrooms with hot showers, though the oversized shower head took up so much space that it was hard to lather up. We arrived late and left early, so I didn't try the other facilities. There's a bin in each bathroom, but none in the room, and the bedside light switch was unreliable. About 25 minutes from the airport.

The staff were friendly, and I had a pleasant stay in this quiet, cozy hostel with modern amenities and a decent breakfast. My private double room was tiny but clean. The bathroom was spacious and had hot water. I'd recommend it if you're in Bogotá.
