I arrived in Bogotá from Los Angeles California close to 1am after the hotel I'd already paid for had filled my reservation. These people had a room ready, waited for me out on the street, and even helped me work out payment with a taxi. My Spanish is pathetic, but they were friendly and did their best to help. They gave me the wireless code, I took a shower, and I'm grateful they saved me that night. The room is beautiful too. I'm one happy Gringo!

Casa de Lavim made me feel welcome even though I arrived around 5AM. I stayed on the 3rd & 4th of March, 2020, and was shown to a clean, comfortable private room. They offered me a hot drink at that hour and let me know breakfast was included in the hotel fee. It was delicious and served with lovely, attentive service. The proprietor is a qualified, very experienced Cordon Blue Chef, and the staff were always quick to help with my requests. I was so impressed that I recommended Casa de Lavim to a young student chef, who stayed there too and had a pleasant time, even becoming friends with the owner. Thank you, CASA DE LAVIM, for making my holidays in BOGOTA, COLOMBIA so much richer! XOXO

In Bogotá's Quintacomacho section, this place is quiet, clean, and peaceful. The staff are friendly and make a real effort to give guests that warm Colombian hospitality.
