There’s reception around the clock, and the apartments are spacious enough for a family of three.

I booked a tour through reception, and the poor communication and lack of organization ended up wasting a whole day of my trip. Fabian took my contact details and assured me it was booked. When I went to confirm the time the night before, a different receptionist said I should be there at 7:30 a.m. But the next morning, Darwin seemed not to know about the tour and told me it had already left. When I asked why nobody had told me, he brushed me off, saying they didn’t have my number. My host told Darwin to refund me because he hadn’t done so when I asked. But the money wasn’t my main concern, the tour was. Nobody apologized, and the reception staff took no responsibility. I can’t recommend trusting their information or booking tours through them. It was a frustrating experience and a serious waste of time.

The view and location were the only good parts, and the men at the front desk were friendly. Otherwise, both rooms were dirty and hadn’t been swept. The first one didn’t look like the pictures, wasn’t clean when we arrived, and had a bed so hard it felt like a box spring. The next morning, my boyfriend found random hair in his beard. On the first day I also saw two men with escorts. They offered us another room for $60 USD more after we complained about the first. We took it, but that one was dirty too. It had a balcony and kitchen, but every dish in the cupboard was greasy or had dried food on it, and one pillowcase had a cigarette burn. You also have to pay for cleaning, even though the rooms aren’t clean to begin with. The WiFi was very slow, so this isn’t the place if you need a reliable connection.

The view was the only good thing about this place. Check-in took a long time, the owner was rude, and there’s no free breakfast. The pool and jacuzzi weren’t working, and there’s no exercise room. They charged about $20 American dollars per day for room cleaning, which they never mentioned at check-in, so the bill climbed quickly. I suspect they had cameras in the room, and later I found out they knew everything I was doing. Your personal information is also given out. Stay away.
