The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the location was perfect for getting around the city, close to the main road and restaurant areas. Breakfast was delicious. The rooms had everything needed for a full stay, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower had hot water. The house is a cultural heritage building because of its facade, with beautiful spaces that blend an old feel, elegance, and the modern comforts you need.

We had a good experience overall. The shower water was barely warm and came out with very little pressure. There wasn't hot water at the sink either, so washing our hands in the freezing water was uncomfortable 😅

We picked this hotel because it's in a safe, central area, and we could walk almost everywhere. The rooms are lovely, with private bathrooms outside the rooms, but the bathrooms are a bit small for changing, and the room could use a mirror. Kevin and Yeli were fantastic, kind, and attentive. Yeli kept our room and bathroom spotless, and Kevin took great care of us. The beds were very comfortable, and everything else at the hotel was fine. But Mrs. Marilú was rude to us from the first day. When she was explaining the instructions, I asked about the bathroom password and she replied, "Miss, read the instructions that were sent to your phone." I'd just arrived from the airport without internet, and told her I'd read them later. The worst thing happened on our third morning. Mrs. Marilú was arranging the breakfast tables and telling people where to sit. When I came downstairs with my colleague, she directed me to a particular spot. I assumed she was organizing the seating, but she said, "Do you know why I'm sitting you here? Because that's how you are." She raised her arms and pretended to be a fat person, then told me, "That's why I'm sitting you here." She indicated it was because of my weight. I felt awful. I was about to have breakfast and had a tour planned, and it was my first time in Colombia. I'm not overweight, though I'm taller than my companion. All the seats had the same size and legroom, and on earlier days I'd seen tourists taller than me sitting in those same places. The comment was unnecessary, and it ruined part of my stay. Because of how I was brought up, I don't usually talk back to older people. I understand people have different ways of being, but telling a guest she's being seated there because she's heavier is unacceptable. Please be careful with your words. You don't know what health problems or emotional burdens someone may be going through, especially when the comment is about their body.

A lovely guesthouse with a warm, family-like feel and a mix of cultures from different countries. It's a beautiful place, and I'd highly recommend staying here.
