The breakfast was decent, and they’d cook things to order if you asked. Staff were polite, though they didn’t seem especially warm or attentive. For about $70 a night with breakfast, the price was fair, and the hotel is in a convenient, pleasant, safe area. Still, the room had no heating or air conditioning, and the battered blinds didn’t help. The bed was okay, but the pillows were awful, and noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms kept making it hard to sleep, even with earplugs. The Wi-Fi was so weak in our room it was basically unusable. The bathroom had no ventilation, the shower flooded it each time because the drain seemed blocked or inadequate, the towels were ancient, and the door was falling apart. It also seems like most reviews are from people who’ve only written 1-2 reviews. This place really needs an upgrade.

The location and service were great. But we had to ask reception to replace the towels and bed linen because they looked worn out, with tears and holes. You really shouldn’t run into that at a five star hotel.

Bogota has plenty of places to choose from, and I won't be returning here. Our room still wasn't ready after the 3:00 pm check-in time, which was frustrating, especially when a guest who arrived after us got a ready room. The TV and shower had problems too, and the internet was no use for video calls.

The restaurant served great food, and we were close to a grocery store, a Dunkin, and a lovely mountain view. Everyone on staff was welcoming, quick to sort out issues, and patient with our language barrier. Our flight landed early, and they managed to arrange an early check-in; the rooms were spacious, too. Francisco was attentive in the restaurant, spoke very good English, and was quick to help. Daniela at the front desk was also very helpful and spoke English well. The service was amazing.

The rooms look modern and appealing, and everything felt very clean. The staff were kind and attentive. But the mattresses are hard and cheap, there’s no ventilation or climate control in the rooms, and the bathroom has no fan.
