The location made it easy to explore the historic center on foot, and there are plenty of little cafes nearby with excellent food since breakfast isn't served at the property. The employees were really friendly, and they let us leave our suitcases in storage for free after checkout because our flight was in the evening. The rooms were clean, but very cramped, especially with suitcases, and the bathroom was extremely small too. At night we could hear loud music from a nearby club, so earplugs came in handy.

The rooms and bathroom are tiny, and the hotel is noisy. I also smelled like insecticide. If you want a cheap place in town, it could work, but the great reviews don't match my experience. The staff could do better.

I checked with them a few days ahead about whether I needed to pay in advance, and only then learned that my confirmed online booking had somehow gotten stuck in their system. This was the day I was due to arrive, and they were full. They just told me, “Sir, you have no reservation.” No apology or help at all. I don't recommend it.

There was hardly any room to move, and nowhere to put suitcases. The toilet was very difficult to sit on, and hot water took a long time to come. No hair dryer, and not comfortable. I wouldn't recommend it.

We walked from the hotel to the Montserrate, and it was beautiful! The area of Bogotá was nice, and I really liked staying the night here. Our rooms were small, but cute, clean and cozy. The man behind the entry bar was very nice, and so were the other employees.
