Hotel capsula

The location is good, but I’d want some security for each booth. Mine had a hole about 2 inches wide that you could see through from the next booth. Looks like they forgot to cover it.

It doesn’t look like the photos, and staying here was the worst hostel experience I’ve had. They charged extra for basics like toilet paper and for luggage security, but only mentioned that after I’d paid. The capsules get hot and do nothing to block other guests’ noise, you can hear everything. Service was terrible too. If you get the chance to go, don’t miss it.

Please check the plumbing before another guest has this experience. I moved the mattress the next day and found an open drainpipe installed right behind the bed, with no seal or water trap. It seemed to carry the building’s sewage smell straight into the pod. At first, I thought the odor might pass, then figured maybe I was imagining it. Neither was true. I’d arrived excited, settled in, turned out the light, and everything was quiet until around 3 a.m., when that smell suddenly appeared. It came and went through the night, making it impossible to rest.

A bit of noise, which is normal for this sort of place, and the bathrooms are shared. The mattresses have springs. Still, it was very, very good, and the futuristic feel was a fun touch. Good, nice, and cheap.
