The top floor has a gym, wet and dry saunas, and a jacuzzi. Our steward also brought my bags to the room and showed us how the TV, AC, movies, and everything else worked. The staff were formal but accommodating. It’s an older hotel, though it still has an elegant feel. A relaxing, quiet stay with nice service, and I’d recommend it if that’s what you value.

The shower was the standout for me, with great pressure and temperature. The breakfast was okay, the rooms were nice, and the staff were kind. It’s fairly close to both the airport and the American Embassy. A good experience, though nothing particularly extraordinary.

At check-in, I was asked to pay 1,000,000, twice the agreed rate of 500,000 confirmed when I booked. That was alarming, so I had to step in and ask them to honor the original price. They eventually fixed the charge. Mistakes can happen, but one this large is concerning, and I hope they improve their billing accuracy to avoid this happening again.

They didn’t honor my confirmed reservation, so at 9pm I had to find somewhere to stay on the spot in Bogotá. If you travel, you know what a nightmare that is. Then they still had the nerve to try charging my credit card the next day. Ridiculous.

The rooms are great, and most of the people there provided great service. There was one receptionist I didn’t like. I’m not from Bogotá, so I’m not used to having soup or rice for breakfast. I wish there were a bit more variety in the food.
