Hotel Laguna 24

The location is a real plus, just five minutes from the embassy, and the receptionist was very friendly. Still, this was the worst night we've ever spent at a hotel. Our first room reeked of paint so badly we felt suffocated, and its window faced the street and didn't seem very secure. We asked to move, but the room they gave us was filthy, with disgusting pillowcases and very dirty walls. Breakfast is advertised as included, but all we got was stale bread, scrambled eggs, and hot chocolate, with no other choices. It was a very unpleasant stay. For the same price, there are much better hotels nearby.

The staff were very helpful, and the service was excellent. Great value for money.

Breakfast is basic, just hot chocolate, eggs, and bread, and parking fits two cars. The location is very convenient for the American embassy. Service was excellent, with friendly, helpful, understanding people.

The beds were hard as boards, with worn-out mattresses, and the hotel felt very humid. We got old, torn, damp towels at 10 PM, despite Ms. Nancy, the manager, saying towels are handed out at 3 PM. When we raised the mattress issue, she got angry and was rude and arrogant. The one good thing is the location near the embassy. There are better hotels and staff close by. I wouldn't stay here, the night was bad and the treatment was rude.
