The bed was comfortable and the location worked well, but the room itself could use attention. The sheets, pillows, and pillowcases looked poor, and the batteries were exposed on the door lock. We were given just one towel for two adults; the extra one we requested was still damp. We chose this place to avoid outside noise and get some sleep, but Room 202 carried loud conversations from reception and the lobby right into the room. A lobby discussion around 2 am woke me, and some guests were loud too. I asked the receptionist for help, but nothing was done. Check-in also took more than 45 minutes.

The staff were great, and the rooms were very clean. It's just a few minutes on foot from Corferias, which made it a good choice for a conference stay without paying a crazy Hilton price. They even kept my suitcase on my last day so I could go shopping.

It's a three-star hotel in a safe area, and the rate seems fair. As anywhere, though, keep an eye on what's around you. They don't exchange money or give cash advances, so change money at the airport and use a debit or credit card for payments in Colombia. The cards worked fine. I also found Google Maps useful for figuring out where places were, so I didn't feel disoriented.

It might be okay for just one night, but my room was filthy. The towels were dirty, bits of the floor were coming apart, and there was a lot of dust on the toilet. Maybe they hadn't had guests recently.

The staff were professional and excellent, and went out of their way to help.
