Lancaster House

We spent a week in a one-bedroom apartment with a kitchen, desk, nice view, and a big router right where it should be, at the desk. The Wi-Fi was FAST, which made work calls and Teams meetings easy. Breakfast is complimentary and changes daily, a nice touch for a longer stay. The restaurant has a good menu and stays open late. The place has a lovely Art Deco look, from the colors to the marble floors in the lobby, stairs, and doors. It brought Miami Beach to mind, and I loved all the character and details 🤩. The whole hotel felt comfortable and easy from day one. The staff were genuinely lovely, especially the friendly restaurant team. Our driver Mauricio was super sweet, reliable, and a pleasure to ride with. A great, comfortable spot for longer stays.

Spacious rooms and excellent service make this a good hotel. The facilities feel somewhat dated, though, and the old-looking amenities need an update to meet the standard of a four-star place. Also, the jacuzzi and sauna cost extra and aren't part of the hotel rate.

The suite at Hotel Lancaster House Suites was impressively spacious, with a separate bedroom, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, and luxurious bathroom with a bathtub. It was much bigger than comparable places like Dan Carlton, yet cost about half as much. The restaurant on site exceeded my expectations for both food quality and reasonable prices, so it was easy to get a good meal without leaving. Nightly rates are very competitive for the space and amenities, and the price-to-quality ratio beats other upscale hotels in the area. I've stayed at many places around Colombia, including Sonesta, Dan Carlton, and Airbnbs in Chicó and Usaquén. This is the best property I've experienced in Bogotá, and across the country. Hotel Lancaster House Suites brings together space, comfort, amenities, and affordability better than boutique or chain hotels. I'd wholeheartedly recommend it for business or leisure, and it's raised my expectations for stays in Colombia.

Everyone was pleasant and went out of their way to help. The whole staff was friendly and the service was fabulous. Special mention to Mauricio, a fantastic, careful driver, and Luis in the restaurant and bar.
