The hotel actually surpassed what I expected, and I’d consider staying again. The location in Chapinero is handy, with shops, bars, nightclubs, supermarkets, restaurants, street vendors, McDonald's, breweries, and more. The staff were polite, kind, and very helpful. I stayed in room 203. It was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. They changed the towels whenever they cleaned, which I appreciated since damp towels in Bogotá stay cold and don’t dry well. Breakfast was disappointing, with very few choices, and the electric shower didn’t give much hot water. To get a warm or hot shower, I had to be careful not to turn the faucet too far. The curtains let in lots of daylight, so the room got bright early and it was hard to sleep in. The view was mostly rooftops, and the Wi-Fi wasn’t always reliable.

I’d told them I’d arrive after midnight, but after 24 hours on the road I got there at 4am and there was no room ready. I had to sit in the lobby while they prepared it. Then I was put in a terrible room, 101. The hotel sign outside shone through the window all night, the entry bell seemed to be near my door and woke me every time, and the receptionist watched cartoons on a big lobby TV all night. I had to listen to it. Never again!

The bed was fine, and the TV and bathroom were okay. It was quiet, and they sell drinks at the counter. But for a cheap hotel, it’s expensive. There’s no breakfast, they charge extra if someone visits for more than 20 minutes, and the location feels dangerous. Some of the staff are nice, others rude. This is a place to shut yourself in and rest, nothing else.
