Pop Art Hotel Tocancipá y Centro de Convenciones

The quiet rooms made for a restful night's sleep, and they had everything we needed for convenience and comfort. The hotel was clean, with all the necessary amenities, and the friendly staff made sure our needs were handled promptly. Breakfast had satisfactory options to start the day. We had a delightful, enjoyable stay at the Pop Art hotel, and it made our trip more memorable.

Since this was my first time in the area, I don't have much to compare it with beyond hotels in America and Europe. I liked the hotel's decor, which was interesting. The rooms are small, as seems normal around here, but they needed a lot of repairs. The staff were friendly and helpful, and did their best to assist. There's a restaurant onsite, though breakfast and dinner both get very busy, and the food is okay. My only issue was a party that stayed quite loud until a little after midnight, and I could hear it on the fifth floor.

The place looked good inside, with nice picture decor, and my laundry came back clean, usually within a day or two. But it seemed to be washed or dried on high heat, because my clothes shrank a little. Food was another letdown: during our three-week stay it was mostly chicken and rice, and the chicken was dry and barely warm. Coffee wasn't always available. It was hard to sleep, with highway horns at night and construction or housekeeping banging on doors during the day. Loud music downstairs carried up to the third floor too. I wouldn't stay again. It's noisy and there's not much around.

There's not much to do here, especially in the evening, and the hotel is a long way from shops and malls. It seems better suited to staying in and ordering room service. The restaurant and amenities are okay, and the hotel itself is nice.
