Soy Local Usaquen

I’m here for surgery because the hotel is right beside my hospital. There are a few shops nearby, including oxxo and a place to get food. The room is okay for the price, but has a lot of little issues: the bed is extremely hard, almost like sleeping on a box spring or the floor. Staff said all the beds are like that, though I’ll check tomorrow if that’s true. There’s no kettle or coffee maker. I asked tonight and was told there are no kettles, but I hope they can give me one tomorrow. The fridge is packed with minibar items, so I’ll take them out to make room for my own things. The bathroom has only a foot mat and one towel, and could use a hand towel. The bed light doesn’t work, the toilet seat is loose, and the walls have dings and smudges.

It’s a little outside town, which worked well for the peace and quiet. The rooms are decent and the service was good. The AC was being maintained, but the weather outside made up for it. Good value for the money.

It felt safe and was clean, and the staff gave great attention. I’d recommend it.
